My nephew Brendon was such a brave little boy, he was born 9 weeks early by emergency c section, at my sisters antinatel appointment her midwife noticed the baby's heartbeat was very slow, he was born on 17th july 2003, and he spent the first 3 months of his life in Special care, it soon came to light that he had a rare heart condition, and would in time need a heart transplant, he spent so much time in hospital but still kept a smile on his beautiful little face,When Brendon was one he had open heart surgery, a pacemaker was fitted, things went down hill from there, he spent more time in hospital than out, it was hard for the whole family but more for my sister an our mum, as the 3 of them lived together, Brendon adored his grandma, an his mummy, he also loved Noddy and Tessy bear, although he was 2 he couldnt walk, he said some words but not like a normal kid his age would, by november 2005 he was so ill, his lungs constantly filled with fluild an had to be drained, near the end of nov o5 the doctors at birmingham childrens hospital had decieded he was well enough to go home, 2 days later he died in my mums arms in the sitting room of her house, he had died from cronic heart failure, my whole familys world came crashin down, he was laid to rest on 23rd December 2005 age 2 1/2yrs, Brendon is so badly missed, my mum visits his grave twice a day, has done since he passed, she lites candles for him every nite so hes not in the dark, its so heartbreakin, Brendon may not be here in the flesh but he is very much part of our everyday lives, his mum has just had another son, Taylon, i no Brendon will be keepin them both, us all safe from up above, HE'S THE BRIGHTEST STAR IN THE SKY.XXXXXXXX
